Our Story
Good Family for Tigray Corp, founded in Burlington, Massachusetts, launched its mission in April 2024 to rehabilitate war-torn Tigray and build the next generation workforce.
Before the two-year Tigray’s devastating war, in February 2020, our founder, Zeyohannes, inspired doctors at Brigham and Women’s Hospital to donate 142 textbooks and lab equipment for Ayder Referral Hospital’s oncology program in Mekelle, shipped for free by Global Health in Chicago. During the war, he financially and emotionally supported families of prisoned Tigray ethnics in Addis Ababa. Post-war, Zeyohannes tirelessly connected over 200 women with children born from rape to sponsoring families worldwide for continuous emotional and financial support. This initiative led thousands of sponsors to act independently through their own connections. Today, Good Family for Tigray Corp, partnering with Full Gospel Church of Tigray and Global Network of Love in the US, provides $20 monthly direct bank deposits to 700 children, ensuring transparent audible aid to foster families or single parents for nutrition and education, with regular monitoring of their progress.
Guided by James 1:27, calling us to care for orphans and widows in their distress, we aim to scale this support to 5,000 children, rebuilding Tigray’s future with hope. To join us, please visit
